Thanks, Brianna!

Ok, it looks like I've finally got my blog issues worked out, thanks to a little help from the lovely Brianna over at Counting Blessings! I know I'll have to change it again in a few weeks after the Christmas season is over, but for now, I am absolutely crazy about the little reindeer and the fun pink stuff! (I. Love. Pink.)

It looks like the cats have rediscovered their love for the bottom limbs of my Christmas tree and the ornaments housed therein. Am I happy about it? Nope. Was there some kitty time-out in their crates today? Yep. So help me, they will learn to leave my tree alone. Or else.

I think we've got all but a couple Christmas gifts done/purchased/in progress. I need to finish my mom's gift and the one I'm making for Jesse's mammaw. Both are going well, but I've hit some snags with the scarf I'm crocheting for Mammaw. (Literally and figuratively.) I need to just force myself to get it finished and then make a solemn vow to never, never use that type of yarn again.

I'm incredibly hungry, and ready for DH to get home so I can make dinner. (He's picking up one of my ingredients that I need before he comes home.) Tonight is going to be sausage, pasta, and spinach with a little butter sauce. Yum.

I hate you, Blogger.

I cannot figure out how to get rid of the stupid transparent gray background. It will not die. I've looked up tutorial after tutorial, but apparently, I have a special version of Blogger. It'll have instructions to look up terms like "main.background" to pull up certain parts of code, but I just keep getting messages that it can't find anything that matches my search terms. What the heck? I'm extremely frustrated, because I really hate that gray background. Think I can contact Blogger and get them to remove it?

In other news...I'm 8dpo and dying to test. Hold me back, y'all.

Tah-dah! New layout!

I tweaked my blog layout a little. I was getting bored with it. I want your opinions!

Do you think the blog is too busy? Just right? Is it hard to read with the white text on the transparent/black background? I really wish Blogger would let me tweak the opacity of the text ground, but I couldn't find any options for that. Give me the pros and cons; be brutally honest. (It's not like I have many followers, but I don't want to scare off the few I have by using a terrible layout.)

Oh, the background picture? That was a building in the town we lived in in France. I liked the picture, so I used it. :)

And also...happy December. I can't believe this year is almost over.
