Musical Monday :)

I used to date this creepy little guy back in the day. There were very few good things that came out of that relationship...except that he introduced me to this band. I've seen them live twice, and they were unbelievable. Sadly, they're breaking up and going their separate ways, which makes me incredibly sad. But I've still got their music so we're good! (At the last concert, I was up against the stage, and the guitarist gave me his pick at the end of the show. Awesome!)

Musical Monday!

I haven't updated in a while, so I figured I'd post something. (Even though there are like, two people who read my blog anyhow.)

I've had this song stuck in my head all day long. I've been feeling really emotional since last night, and this is my go-to "sad song" when I'm in the dumps. (I'm thinking the weepiness might be the sign of impending ovulation. Whaaa? If I ovulate in the next few days, I will be thrilled that my cycles aren't super out of whack after the m/c.) So enjoy the mournful sounds of Nickel Creek. They're such a good band, and it's a shame they're no longer together. (And plus, I think the main singer is pretty cute.)
