Things are (still) going well here in BG. But soon, they'll be going well in Franklin, KY. Because we're moving there. Jesse and I had been looking for some more permanent housing, and we wanted to move a bit more south. He has better job opportunities in TN, so Franklin would allow us to live in KY while he commuted to TN, if need be. We found an awesome duplex that has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer hookups, and great storage space. They'll allow us to paint and have pets, for no extra deposit, which is unheard of. It's actually going to be cheaper rent than where we live now. (Not going to lie, a big part of me thinks the best part is the washer and dryer. Cloth diapers ftw!) And yes, we'll still be going to the same congregation. I think we'd be willing to commute quite a long way to worship there.
On Memorial Day, Jesse and I went on a 3-mile hike with my friend Kristin and her husband Aarron, and their little kiddos Emma and Tate. It was a lot of fun! Kristin is one of those people that I instantly bonded with when I met her. We got to chat a lot on the hike, and I had a lot of fun. It was nice to get some exercise while we were away from the gym. Jesse and I have been going to the gym pretty often the last week. (Well, he goes to the gym more than I do, because I have yoga.) It feels good to know that I'm finally doing something about the weight I've gained, instead of just complaining about it and feeling jiggly. Unfortunately, my yoga membership is almost over. (Today is the last day.) I'll miss it a lot, but I think it gave me the motivation to get to the gym, so it was totally worth it. Yoga is just too expensive to keep going every month.
Jesse and I have decided that I get to be a stay-at-home-wife for a little while longer. I'm going to start couponing some and try to save us as much money on groceries as possible. It's pointless to get a job right now when we're going to move, but hopefully we'll be fine without me having a job, anyhow. It's been working out totally fine with just his income, so for the time being, I get to live my dream job. :)
Other than moving and TTC, there isn't a lot going on in our lives. (Or at least, not anything else I'll talk about on Pleonast.) We are incredibly blessed, and it just keeps gettin' better. I get in a "mood" sometimes, but when it comes down to it, I can only do so much for TTGP. The rest is up to luck and God.
